Get to Know Me
Hi, my name is Brittany. I am the creator and author of Filmster Blog. I currently reside in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where I have lived all my life with my parents and three brothers. I graduated in May of 2018 from California University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in communication studies with a concentration in public relations. I consider myself a creative person. In my spare time I like to sing, dance, write, listen to music, and of course watch movies.
Why I Started this Blog
I have always loved movies. When I was little, my family and I would watch movies together every night. I also love writing and learning new things. Around May of this year, I decided I wanted a space where I could share my thoughts on movies. I considered creating a Youtube Channel, but I knew that I preferred writing. I decided to create Filmster, a place where I can express my thoughts and views about film in an objective way. No gimmicks, just good old-fashioned appreciation for movies. This is how I began to build the foundations of my blog.
Things to Note
I am not a movie critic. I do not seek to criticize movies unless I find it necessary for my writing. I am simply someone who wants to discuss movies fairly and positively. This does not mean I won’t criticize a film; it just means that it’s not my main purpose for this blog. I will be sharing my thoughts on movies in general, not necessarily specific movies.
